My mum looks great in the 50s inspired 125 dress - now I know what she looked like when she was young!Kate, 28, Bristol
I remember absolutely loving Marks & Spencer's Tomato Ketchup flavoured crisps. I used to buy them at the branch in Kingston upon Thames after college and work in the 1970s. OOh wish I could eat some now!Marion

I remember being five years old and pulling the arm off of one of the store's manequins in the lingerie department. I then carried it over to the checkout and plonked it on top of the counter. My mother apologised profusely - although everyone else seemed to find it rather amusing...Matthew
I remember as a small boy in the 1950s having to accompany my mother to the Aberdeen shop, which I thought had the brightest, hottest shop lights in Aberdeen, so much so that I wanted to get outside as soon as possible!David
When I used to go shopping with my Mum we would go to various shops and although I never thought of my Mum as a snob, she always told me to keep the Marks and Spencer bag on the outside (so everyone could see). Mum was a great advocate for the store I wish I could go shopping with her once more :-)Carole
I can remember my Nan telling me about when she was a girl and M&S was then called The 1d [Penny] Bazaar.Linda
I remember Saturday mornings. My Nana, Mum and sister would take the train from our village into Glasgow to shop at The Argyle St. Marks and Spencer store. Our first stop was at the cafe, where we had tea and chocolate wafers, our favourites. Then we had a great time shopping!Elizabeth
M&S was my my late mother's favourite shop. We would shop regularly and spent many saturday afternoon's in M&S Wood Green. Now when I visit it's like she's with me telling what's nice and what's not.Teena
My mother would take us kids twice a year to M&S clothes shopping.. winter and summer. She would also get elastic top trousers for herself :)) My brother would often hide in the store after collecting the size tags off the top of the hangers.. Good memories, but miss Mum who is with the angels now.Sharon
I remember holidays away with my parents. We got to see most of the country and visit all the local M&S stores! My mother, an employee, just couldn’t resist taking a look for any ‘different lines’ they might stock.Geri, 55, Kent
My earliest memory of Marks & Sparks is going shopping with my mum and younger sister to buy new pants, socks and an outfit for Whitsuntide. On Whit Sunday we would dress in our new clothes and parade amongst family.Lynne, 51, Leeds
